"I just want to say thank you so much for helping [my
son]. He has really enjoyed working with you and you have REALLY improved his writing skills.
He takes the SAT again [soon] and I am anxious to see his new writing score this time compared to the last tests."
Dee Dee, mother of high school senior, 2006
"Hey, Aileen...thought I would bring you good news.
[my son] got an 11 (on a scale of 1-12) on the essay portion of his SAT. That is awesome.
The last two times he has gotten an 8. I attribute his improvement to your help."
(Dee Dee, after her son's results came back)
"We really, really appreciate you
working on such a short deadline and with a student literally halfway around the
world. This is gonna get him something...I just know it!" Kathy, mother of college freshman in Japan
who was applying for scholarships.
"I won the Optimist Club Essay contest for my school! Just thought I should let you know about
this since . . .you are my ultimate inspiration for well-written essays. Without your help I would be the most
bland, mediocre, boring writer who would fall asleep while typing his own essays." Ben,
high school senior, Robertson Scholarship semi-finalist

"You truly blessed
us today! Praise God – Praise God – Praise God, rings in my soul when I think about what happened today.
The awesomeness of God showed up and showed out. Some people say that: “Hallelujah” is the highest praise
– but I say: Obedience is the highest praise. Thank you for being an obedient Child of God. I look forward to
meeting you again. Continue to be blessed in everything you do."
Alanda Harris, Associate Pastor,
Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church to Aileen, after the Tour of Tables event where Aileen spoke on "Grains of Sand, Blessed
Pearls." April 2008
I wanted to thank you so much
for working with my daughter Katy on her essays for the Governors school application.
She was accepted for the 2008 academic summer school. I know that she was competing against many talented
students and while she had the grades and the testing scores I know you working with her gave her the edge
she needed to prevail over the others. She was able to create unique captivating essays that focused on her subject
of the Spanish language and you helped her to think outside the box and to bring the reader into a unfolding drama. You actually
taught her to be a better writer. I also want to thank you for her helping her in her essay that helped her become a
finalist in Asheville Young Woman's Leadership Scholarship as well. I hope to continue working with you in the
future as we tackle many more scholarships in her senior year and college applications.

"Your performance
was awesome!" Brenda Luther, Business Education Teacher, A. C. Reynolds Middle School,
March 1, 2007, when Aileen read Dr. Seuss's Happy Birthday To You to the student body on their closed circuit
television.
